Productivity is important in the fact that it directly affects social and economic status. When productivity is high, then not only is unit output increased but it also directly affects the living standard. Workflow is important because it affects productivity and quality. When the workflow makes sense and is effective, then both production and quality are increased. Lastly, quality is important in the fact that it is best for the customers. When you develop a product that you want a customer to buy, then you want to make sure that it is more than the customer expected. This leads to customers buying more of your product and even telling others about the product. I have seen the importance of this when I was working in the field.
