Broward County increasingly uses PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) in infrastructure due to private sector contributions in terms of efficiency and capital for public works. With these partnerships, we can achieve much more in regions where public funds are insufficient or where a creative solution needs to be developed to solve complex issues (Ametepey et al., 2023). In most cases in this county, PPPs are focused on large-scale infrastructure building, such as improving the transportation network, constructing public buildings, and expanding essential utility services. As the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships sees it, the PS is advantaged by its ability to deliver high-quality public assets that bring together the public sector's best oversight practices and the private sector's innovative drive (DeWitt & Solutions, 2020). The PPP projects in Broward County span the whole spectrum, including individual facilities and comprehensive development programs that involve multiple sectors, such as healthcare, education, and public safety. The degree of such projects also widely differs, ranging from small community-based initiatives to massive projects that cost millions of dollars.
