Bryce is hoping to someday be in a position to retain the final cut as a producer. Bryce would like to assign all the copyright distribution rights to this film (Juliette Prescott) and all of Bryce's other works into a newly formed publishing distribution company. He asked that you provide contracts to that new company. At the moment, Bryce is the sole member and manager of this new LLC. Bryce expects to bring on other investors eventually and use the company to distribute works, He does not wish to transfer the right to edit the works, hoping this will allow him to have a form of final cut control in the works.
I am not sure how to start. I believe even if he does not transfer the right to edit the works, there is still room for the company to have final cut.
What should I focus on in my contract? How efficient is the strategy to not transfer the right to edit the works?
