Andrew Adams bought a refrigerator from Harvey Norman, 500 George Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150 on their invoice number 1456 dated 25th May 2013 for an amount of $800.

When he tried to use the refrigerator he saw that it was not working properly. When he plugged the electric cables and switched on the power, he could hear lots of noise coming from the refrigerator. The refrigerator could not defrost as well as stated in the manual which came with it.

Andrew tried to repair the refrigerator himself using the instructions from the manual but was unsuccessful. The refrigerator is covered by warranty for 12 months. Andrew now wants to write to Harvey Norman to send a Technician to come and have a look at the refrigerator with a view to repairing it or in the event that it is not reparable then to replace it with a new one.
