Building of a new home or building project, Data Center build or major addition to an existing home or building project. You will be responsible for managing a project to implement a 5,000 square foot house, building, or addition for one of your customers.

• Create Business Case for the project on which you have decided.
• Determine and document scope: one to two pages; please write this as a formal scope statement (docx).
• Determine high-level milestones and tasks that need to be included in this project. If you like, you can use the standard milestones of Initiating/Planning, Requirements, Design, Executing/Development, Monitoring & Controlling, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Closing. At the very least, your high-level milestones should capture the main deliverables and/or major events to meet in your plan. You will need this for creating your WBS in the next session.
