1. Who is your target market and their wants/needs?

According to the statistics provided by Public Health Ontario (2022), the number of cumulative infected cases in Toronto from January 2020 to February 2022 is 271,837. Although the number of infected people in Ontario in February 2022 is dropping (Public Health Ontario, 2022) recently, the decreasing infected cases is mainly because of the lockdown in January. The restaurants, shops and fitness centers are gradually re-open on February. People will still be exposed to the risk of infection once they start the social activity. Therefore, a mask is essential to protect people and their families from infecting Covid-19, especially for 5.9 million people who live in the metropolitan area (Census of Statistic Canada, 2016) with a higher population density (compared to people living in the countryside). The metropolitan population in Toronto would be our target customer as they are considered as higher chances to be infected. As per Walmart's website, the price of a box of 50 disposable masks ranges from around CAD 6.95 to CAD 52.18, which we can infer that the crowd generally accepts this range of price.

2. What products and/or services that your company may be offering your selected market?

Our company would offer procedure facial masks to the target customer. Our mask would be in high quality that it includes the filters of Viral Filtration Efficiency (VFE), Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE), Particulate filtration efficiency (PFE) with over 98% efficiency, which qualified to the highest level of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)'s standard - ASTM level 3. People wearing our masks would have a low chance of being exposed to the virus.
