Across business and management disciplines, there has been a significant growth in the number of students working on their final dissertation in recent years (Lee & Saunders, 2017). This article focuses on the important concerns and obstacles that these disciplines' research students (up to PhD level) confront. The goal of this post is to provide a step-by-step strategy for research students to use in order to save time reading through a profusion of business research books. The authors recently completed a case study in New Zealand's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. Because it is difficult to analyze all facets of a phenomenon in a single case study (Cruzes, Dyb, Runeson, & Hst, 2015), a multiple case studies technique was used over a two-year period.
