Poslaju Bookstore Appoints MPH As Agent

PosLaju, a unit of Pos Malaysia Bhd, has appointed MPH Bookstore Sdn Bhd as its legal agent

official to sell its prepaid courier services at four selected MPH branches.

MPH One Utama related branches in Petaling Jaya, MPH MidValley and MPH

Bandar Tasik Selatan, both in Kuala Lumpur, and MPH Subang Parade in

Subang Jaya.

PosLaju is also a courier partner for MPH in providing

pickup services and requests for orders placed through bookstores

online.

Pos Malaysia Bhd Group Chief Operating Officer Shukrie Salleh said the partnership

with MPH Bookstore will use the courier company plus and

provide services to more customers. This will give more

many ways for PosLaju to sell and promote prepaid products, such as

cover and box.

"We see the demand for our products is very high and we don't want it to be limited

to the point of sale of envelopes and prepaid boxes at our branches only, "he said

to reporters at the signing ceremony of the agreement between the two

company here Friday.

Shukrie said PosLaju also intends to work with other parties such as

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd and Proton Edar.

Currently, PosLaju has nearly 100 legal agents and Shukrie says the company

looking to appoint more agents yet. "But we are very picky

appoint agents in view of the availability of certain criteria that we see for them

they need our needs, "he said.

The partnership between Kedai Buku PosLaju and MPH is for each year.

To date, MPH is the only bookstore that provides

this service
