3. Provide opportunity to draft a Case Brief and summarize a judicial opinion.
Instructions. Review the Supreme Court of New York's trial opinion in the case of Halpern v. Greene (2009) and draft a formal Case Brief that correctly responds to the following two issues raised in the case:
- Can the Plaintiffs, unlicensed boxing managers, maintain their action against the Defendant boxer/client for breach of contract and damages in this case?
- Can the Plaintiffs maintain an action in "quantum meruit" against the Defendant boxer/client for unjust enrichment in the absence of a legally-cognizable contract?
