Business Law please help question is attached

image text in transcribed
Louie the Landlord has been renting a space in his plaza to Betty the Business Lady for her ice cream shop for the past 10 years. Betty's lease ends in 6 months and she is looking to enter into a new lease to remain in the plaza where she has established her ice cream business within the community. During a regular discussion where the Landlord stops in the ice cream shop, Betty mentions that they need to figure out the upcoming lease since her current lease ends in 6 months and she wants to be prepared. Louie the Landlord states to Betty, "no worries, Betty. You are a great tenant and you can consider yourself to be set with a new lease." A couple months passes and Betty talks to Louie again to inquire about when she should expect the new lease and to please email it to her so she can look it over. Louie the Landlord informs Betty that he will not be able to provide her with a new lease and she should look for a new location. Betty, devastated, explains to Louie that she has been there for 10 years and it would cost so much money to have her equipment removed and set-up in a new location, and she has spent thousands in remodeling the place because she was expecting to remain in the plaza for a long time. 1. Explain how Contracts are interpreted and the relevant analysis in the event of a disagreement like this? 2. What additional legal arguments and theories can Betty use to require the landlord to honor what she believes was an understanding so she can remain within the same location? 3. Explain in detail the legal arguments Betty can raise along with how this situation can be best applied to those legal claims and why through a legal analysis of any relative elements
