Business Plan Instructions This summary gives you instructions on When and How to approach your business plan and related strategies. The major sections to this assignment include the Marketing Strategy, the Organizational Strategy, the Operational Strategy, the Financial Strategy and your Complete Business Plan. A Guide to Develop a Business Plan for Management 13 was uploaded on Modules, week 8. The Business Plan Guide tells you how to complete each of the sections of the business plan. On Modules, I give you a timetable as to when to complete and submit a draft of every major strategy. This represents a calendar of major benchmarks. The last thing you want to do is to try to do all the sections of the plan at the last minute. Instructions on each Major Strategy/Assignment 1. Marketing Strategy Your marketing strategy consist of an evaluation of the Marketing Environment Forces (page 3 and 4 and Exhibit 1, page 12); b) an evaluation of Market Environment Players (pages 4 and 5, Customers, Competition and Suppliers); and, c) a Marketing Mix Plan which involves the famous four P's, (pages 5 through 8). 2. Organizational Strategy Your organizational strategy consist of five strategic areas found in pages 8 and 9. 3. Operational Strategy Your operational strategy consist of three major areas found in pages 9, 10 and 11. It also includes Exhibits 2 and 3 found on pages 13 and 14 are design to assist you in developing your strategic timetables. 4. Financial Strategy Your financial strategy consists of a discussion of Sources of Funds, Uses of Funds as noted on page 11. A third component of your financial strategy is the development of an Income Statement, one for each of the first three years. Exhibit 4, found on page 16, gives you gives you a framework for the development of an Income Statement.

5. Completed copy of the Business Plan Prepare and upload the complete business and upload it accordingly. Follow the Table of Content found on page 2. This is where you put together all the sections of the business plan with prior revisions and upgrades.
