This is a group (2-3) assignment.
The objective of the assignment is to learn about managerial functions in an organization by engaging in a live conversation with an active manager.
The assignment is to conduct an interview with a manager of an organization and learn first-hand what they do on a daily basis. The organization can be for-profit or non-profit (charitable organization, government agency) and can be of any size. Family business is fine.
You will need to maintain the highest professional demeanour in all aspects of the interview process as you are representing Douglas College. Unprofessional attitude and approach reflects poorly on you, your group, instructor and the College. You should be respectful of the manager's time, privacy and only share information that you have received consent before submitting to the instructor.
