Scenario: Audrey bought a washing machine from the appliance store, Good Bargains Lid. The first time Audrey uses the washing machine it does not function properly. It causes extensive damages to all her washing which includes some very expensive dresses and suits. Audrey returns the washing machine to Good Bargains Lid. She wants her money back. The manager of the appliance store, Jim, refuses to refund her. He says that Audrey should have checked the washing machine more carefully before taking it away. In addition, Jim says Audrey should have read the notice on the wall of the store which reads: "No refunds.
