Net income for 2021 was $2,000,000. 2. 10% 25,000 issued cumulative, convertible preference shares, par value RM100. The preference shares were issued on January 1, 2020. Each preference share is convertible into four ordinary shares. REQUIRED: (i) Perform computation on weighted-average number of ordinary shares outstanding. (7 marks) (11) Perform computation on Basic Earnings per Share, assuming no conversion of preference shares. (4 marks) (iii) Perform computation on Diluted Earnings per Share, assuming conversion of preference shares at the beginning of the year. (6 marks)
