c l I remember working with somebody who originated from India. He had different norms and beliefs and when I entered into a conversation with him, he explained his culture which was fascinating and explained a lot about his behavior. I found it enlightening and it helped me better connect to and understand him. It can be helpful to seek supervision and outside sources who can give you perspective on your cultural sensitivity.
