Make a photocopy of this diagram (or scan and print it) and then construct arrows that show that the fourth principle of mechanics is consistent with this photo. Carefully compare both the magnitude and direction of the impulses delivered to each disk by the collision. [Hints: Create a magnified image if you can. Draw arrows from pentagon center to pentagon center (you can skip one or two intervening images to get bigger arrows).
