chemical equation for the reaction Ammonium copper (II) sulphate tetrahydrate =[(NH4)2Cu(SO4)24H2O] Cu(SO4)25H2O+(NH4)2(SO4)(NH4)2SO4.CuSO44H2O Percentage yield of Ammonium copper sulphate pentahydrate Filter paper =1.5 Experimental yield =7.241.5=5.74 Theoretical yield 1- weigh 2gm of the ammonium sulphate (NH4)2SO4, and 4gm of copper sulphate pentahydrate CuSO45H2O 2- Mix the solids together with a glass stirring rod. 3- Add 10ml of hot dist. water to the beaker. 4- Warm (don't boil) the mixture using a hot plate-to dissolve the solids. 5- When all solids are dissolve remove the beaker from the heat. Set it aside to cool at room temperature for about 45 minutes
