Calvin Laing started CLM Box Company in Vancouver over 30 years ago. He was very early to adopt technology in designing his boxes but he has been reluctant to use technology in his accounting and daily sales. As Vancouver has grown so has the pressure on Calvin to invest in technology to become more efficient. Calvin decides he needs advice so he hires you. You are a knowledge worker and you have studied Busi 237. You explain to Calvin how important technology is in helping people manage information by discussing and defining some of the key terms you have learned. Calvin likes what you have said and decides to make the investment. He wants to reduce costs as much as possible so you recommend the best hardware and software that will help him do the job and also save money. One year later Calvin hires you again. He says that the new technology has helped his company to become extremely efficient but new problems have arisen. 

Firstly, the various departments have been sending him so much information recently, that he has been having difficulty using it to make important decisions. You explain the situation to Calvin using some of the terminologies you have learned.
