The master production schedule (MPS) for this product for the next 12 wecks is given in Table 1 below. Table I: MPS for the Mirage tent The planned prodaction in week 9 of the MPS is given as 2XX. You are required to teplace XX with the last 2 digits of your student ID number. For example, a studeat with ID number 171145 would have a planned production of 245 units in weck 9. The Mirage tent is assembled from two sub-assemblies: $1 and S2. Sab-assembly S1 tequires components Cl and C 3, while sub-assembly S2 requires components C2 and part P2. Component C1 is made from parts Pland P2. The beginning inventory, lotsiving rule, lead time and usage for all of the items needed to assemble the Mirage tent are given in Table 2 . Assigansent Tasks: (a) Develop a prodoct structure tree for the Mirage tent. ( f marl) (b) Complete a MRP record for each of the items listed in Table 2 (7 marks) (c) Develop an ordering schedule for the production horizon (Whas items will be ordered each weck, and in what quantities).
