Can a college professor fail me for not submitting assignments in another portal other than school portal, in which I am imposed to pay $224. I am taking a Spanish class and our professor is imposing us to purchase a Spanish portal named VHL central. Is that legal in NJ, is any law preventing her from doing that. She said is the department decision so I have to pay for it, or otherwise she will fail me. Is any law that protects students from purchasing. Portal is not mentioned on the school policy but is mentioned on the Professors syllabus
