Financial Statement Analysis Project Fall 2015 1) You may complete this project in a group of up to three people or on your own, the choice is completely yours, however, if you chose to do the project in a group it is your responsibility to find, contact an coordinate with the group members. Each group member will turn in a copy of the project in the drop box. 2) You need to cite any sources you use. The use of outside sources including the text and the notes from the course is completely acceptable and encouraged, however, using these sources and not citing them is plagiarism. So don't be afraid to use the sources just make sure you cite them. 3) Look at the annual reports for any company on the S&P 500. 4) Then make a buy sell or hold recommendation. If you believe the stock is likely to appreciate at a rate greater than the S&P 500 you would recommend the stock as a buy. If you believe the stock is likely to match the S&P 500 you would recommend the stock be held, and if you believe the stock is likely to underperform the S&P 500 you would then recommend the stock be sold.
