I will be using the Socratic Dialogues from week two and Friedrich Nietzsche, "On Truth and Lying in the Nonmoral Sense." from week 13. Socrates basically chose his fate instead of living out his life in prison, and Nietzsche argues that the good outweighs the bad, so should he have chosen banishment instead of death in order to continue teaching the young?
