While some who claim to have mystical powers are con artists, there are many who truly believe they can do these various things. Do you want your tax dollars buying the Marijuana dowser rods? How much evidence would you want first? Why?

Your decisions and actions based on your beliefs (faith or faith inscience ) are part of philosophy, and not necessarily psychology. Personally,I think that people shouldn't be teased for lighting a candle in hope or because of an image they see as a symbol of faith. Humans see faces in everything.

Personally, I wouldn't pay $28,000 for a cheese toast with a face on it, but you might and that is okay.
