Main question in focus for hypothesis testing: What is the mean number of daily hours needed

to put behind study in order to achieve a grade of A in current STAT 301 class?

Variables to be tested: Numbers of hours required to put into studies daily to get A grade.

Guess of the values = 4 hours, we will do one sided right tail test; so our Hypothesis will be:

Null: means number of hours needed in 4

Alternate: mean number of hours needed is greater than 4

So, if null is rejected then I will have to allocate more time in my daily schedule towards

studying for STAT 301.
