Mica was an excellent good student during college, where she even won an international competition that brought her to London, England, and gave her a thorough understanding of current consumer trends with respect to plant-based cuisine. By mid-February this year she had taken out a 10,000 $ loan for young entrepreneurs from the Brossard Caisse populaire, put together an all-original menu, rent a small space for 800 $ a month... right before the Quebec government ordered the closing of dine-in restaurants as part of the province's lockdown of all non-essential services.
