Can someone please help me do deliverable 2

Kandy Furniture Corporation Project Overview: In project #1, you will develop a normalized relation data model describing the primary business processes of a new client, Kandy Furniture Corporation (KFC). KFC is a national furniture wholesaler where they purchase most of their products directly from various manufacturers and then sell the products to their retailers. KFC also has the capacity to fabricate some of the products they sell. Scenario: You had a meeting with the owner, Mr. MacKandy, to go over his project requirements. Mr. MacKandy is an end user who is not familiar at all with technology. He, however, was able to provide you with some business rules and the list of three initial entities that one of his staff attempted to create. He does not know what else you will need or whether the three entities below are accurate. However, he expects that you follow the industry standards or best practices in your design and he will not pay if he is not happy with the deliverables. 1. Initial Entities CUSTOMER ORDER PRODUCT CustomerID OrderID ProductID CustomerFirstN CustomerID ProductDescription CustomerLastN CustomerPO UnitPrice CustomerAddress OrderDate StockQuantity CreditLine DueDate ShipDate 2. Business Rules Each customer may place multiple purchase orders (POs), and each order may consist of multiple products. Each customer is serviced by a Sale Representative that is an employee of KFC. A Sale Rep may be assigned multiple customers. Sale Reps are paid commission on their sales based on a commission rate negotiated when they were first hired. KFC has a commission rate schedule that is used to determine the appropriate rate to pay the Sale Rep One product can be supplied by multiple suppliers. Each supplier has a different pricing structure for the same products. 0 2 / 1 2 / 2 0 1 9 P r o f . P h a m P a g e 2 | 3 KFC has the capability to fabricate some of the products they are selling. When they need to fabricate products, they purchase materials/parts for assembly and the purchase is documented on the Bill of Materials (Requisition). Mr. MacKandy values his employees and frequently offers courses to help his employees refresh or gain new skills. Each employee can complete a series of course KFC offers. All employees are subject to annual performance evaluation. During the annual evaluation, Mr. MacKandy will look at the employees work performance and personal training and achievement in the last 12 months to determine employees new commission rate and promotion. Thus, it is essential for human resource staff to document the courses employee completed and the skills they gained. Project Requirements: 1. Overall Project Presentation: You are to deliver the results of this project in a professional manner as you would when you work for a company. The quality of your project and presentation is a reflection of your attention to detail and the level of care. These are important factors that influence your clients decision in choosing your work over other competing businesses and reflecting your pay. You will lose points for incorrect formatting, as well, as inaccurate or incomplete work. 2. Deliverable 1 Begin with the initial entities for CUSTOMER, ORDER, AND PRODUCT provide by Mr. MacKandy above, transform them into relations, and normalize your model to 3rd Normal Form. This is your deliverable #1. It is obvious that the entities above are not in the 3rd Normal Form given that ORDER and PRODUCT entities have M:N relationship. You need to take necessary steps to transform the three entities into 3rd Normal Form. I do not require you to show the steps but you need to include in Deliverable #1 a document showing the final relations you come up with and their relationships once you have achieved 3rd Normal Form. Be sure to format your diagram showing the logical schema (Rectangle boxes for relations in alphabetical order and lines between the relations to indicate the relationships). This format is not an ERD. Make sure it includes proper formatting and capitalization, as well as the appropriate relationships. 3. Deliverable 2 In Deliverable #2, you will use the diagram created in Deliverable #1 as starting point and build upon it by adding business rules. You will add additional relations and relationships to the relational schema you created in Deliverable #1 while still maintaining 3rd Normal Form in this enhanced model. 0 2 / 1 2 / 2 0 1 9 P r o f . P h a m P a g e 3 | 3 Be sure to list your relations in alphabetical order and include relationships between the relations. The name of your relations must be singular and, in ALL CAPS, while attributes are presented using ProperCamel notation. This logical schema is a listing of the relations and relationships and it is not in the same format as an ERD. The name of each entity must be in this format: ENTITY_TBL. For example, Customer entity should be labeled CUSTOMER_TBL .
