Can someone please help me solve this reaction? This is only a portion of a process that produces desired propylene oxide via the Hydroperoxide method.
My main problem is figuring out the epoxidation reaction. Ethylbenzene-hydroperoxide and propylene are the reactants going into the PFR where epoxidation occurs. I need to know thr chemical reaction (lettered formula please) Ive provided a picture of the cycle. The epoxidation reaction is my main problem, but feel free to evaluate the rest if the cycle and whats in each stream.
Ive filled in what i know so far, i know i am missing a few components and bi-products. Thanks!
