4. Krishnan instructed Paul to sell antique instruments on his behalf. Paul sold the antique instruments and collected the purchase price of RM20,000 from the buyer on behalf of Krishnan. Krishnan promised to pay RM2,500 as Paul's commission for the sale. Krishnan has not paid Paul's commission. Further, while representing Krishnan, Paul had advanced RM1,500 being costs to advertise in the papers and deliver the antique instruments to the buyer. Although Krishnan promised to reimburse him, he has yet to do so. Krishnan wants Paul to give him the purchase price of RM20,000 which Paul obtained from the buyer before paying Paul.
