If not, click Taxes on the navigation bar. - You know that you will be required to file monthly. - You change the tax collection start date to 2/1/23. TIP: You will need to edit the sales tax settings to change the starting date. You must enter as 02/01/2023. Leave the reporting method as accrual. You review the records of all items in the Product and Sorvices list, making sure that all inventory items are identified as Taxable-standard rate and all service items as Nontaxable. TTP: Click Edit for every item to review the settings. If a service shows as taxable, you'll need to change the status. Click Edit sales tax and coggle to Nontaxable. (You may need to click stiII don't see what you're looking for? before you see the Nontaxable option.) You will need to save and close whether you change the tax status or not. To make sure every item's tax status is correct, run a Product/Service List report. Customize the report by adding the Taxable field. Only inventory items should be identified as taxable.
