QUESTION 1 (a) A client has sought your firm's services to establish some objective data or calculation to justify the performances of the company from various aspects. Obtain an annual report of the public listed company or private Son Bhd company, then conduct ratio analysis in order to analyse its past performances based on the set of financial statements and also the disclosure under notes to financial statements. Draw out a worksheet that disclose the following types of ratios: Profitability V Liquidity V Efficiency V Capital structure V Investment There must be at least TWO years of data and ratio calculations for trend analysis. At least two to three individual ratios for each type, eg gross profit margin & net profit margin for profitability ratio.
