Project Title: Improving Food Insecurity in Ottawa
The goal of this project is to provide more healthy and affordable food options to food insecure households in Ottawa. This project will focus on creating and putting in place a sustainable food distribution network, reducing food waste and increasing efforts to recover food, making the community more aware of and involved in food insecurity issues, and making it easier for local community organizations to help with food and provide support.
The following are included in the scope:
