Therefore, expanding one's research beyond these resources is imperative. Professional websites, such as the American Psychological Association, serve as valuable reservoirs of detailed information about subspecialties in psychology.

The choice between online and traditional "brick-and-mortar" educational institutions is another critical aspect of this journey. While brick-and-mortar institutions offer hands-on experience, like research labs, and more immersive engagement with faculty, online schools present unmatched flexibility and global diversity. However, it's worth noting that the reputations of online institutions might be contested when it comes to state licensing boards.

While the exploration of subspecialties in psychology serves as a potential guide for many to a future career, for me, it's a journey to understand the captivating world of the human psyche.
