Can you please show me steps how to calculate the PVIFA (Present Value of Interest Annuity) with a regular calculator . I do have solution using Financial Tables but the test requires to use the formula . If you can show me using formula and how to input this on the financial calculator:

Question: Compute the price of a bond with $1,000 face value , $ 72.45 coupon, and 9 years to maturity when the required rate of return is 9.5% . I do have the answer how the final answer but I need the steps especially the part in parenthesis it seems easy but I cannot figure it out the answer =5.875283 & 441.85

PMT=$72.45, PVIFA= {1-(1+.095)^-9 }/.095 =5.875283 is the answer but I need you to show me calculation in bolded part.

PVIF=.441848; M=$1,000; $1,000x(1+.095)^-9=441.85 is the answer, but need to know how they came up with this answer

thank you

PVIFA=
