Can you provide me with cases where confidential sources were forced by courts to disclose information due to them. There might also be instances where they weigh public safety when making a decision. It could also be a case where the information is delivered to the court because it is not deemed privileged. I'm seeking a precedent from any jurisdiction on the appeal of acquiring confidential information from a source. I would prefer at least one Canadian and one American.
