Can you respond to this students discussion My assessment of the information provided is that there was a significant statistical difference between the lead times of Aluminum Sheeting and Durrable Products. A two-tail test is appropriate if you are trying to see if there is a difference between the groups you are comparing, while a one-tail test is appropriate if you are trying to determine a difference between a group in one direction (David, 2024). For the example provided, I think that a two-tail test is most appropriate since we are trying to measure the difference between the two companies' lead times without knowing which will be less or more. The combination formula can be used to determine how many tests would need to be conducted to compare all the suppliers in the list. For this example, we have eight objects and two samples. If n=8 and r=2, then the combination formula would result in 28 different combinations (Evans, 2021). Excel can be used to calculate this by using the "=CONBIN" formula in a given cell
