One of the memorable things during the internship were when the case manager did an assessment on a client. The assessment is for new clients that are homeless and are moving in at sulzbacher and they need background information about the client up to ten years.the client fill out papers and answer questions for the case manager.my favorite thing is when the case manager discuss the resources she can use for free. They help the residents get a job, and provide free food, transportation, and other services. The family dynamic class was class I took during the program helped me understand how the assessment, and treatment plan work and how to use the soap method with the client. An internship is an experience that is essential for the human service program because you get to gain valuable work experience , explore a career path, develop refine skills and learn communication is important in the human service internship.
