As a starting point, please use the WBS in the list format below. Note that 1.0 to 5.0 are some of the major deliverables of the Kitchen Renovation Project which will be used at the starting point to develop our project schedule.

2.0 Removing old appliances and fixtures
3.0 Purchasing new appliances and building materials
4.0 Installation and test
5.0 Project closure and delivering to customer
Your schedule needs to have a minimum of 30 lines.5 lines have been provided above.The 25 additional lines required can be created by further breaking down the major deliverables above to summary tasks and sub-tasks and adding milestones.
Step 2: Your second step is to estimate the duration of the deliverables.
Recall the approaches we use for estimating. In reality, we often look for similar projects that were conducted in the past and adjust the durations for the circumstances of our current project. Since you don't have the ability to rely on past projects, I will not be critiquing the estimates you make. I'm simply looking to ensure you have estimated all the work and documented the assumptions you've made. Please note, a duration of 1 day is the default in MS Project. This is not your estimate. Please use something other 1 day.
Step 3: Your third step is to identify the predecessors.
Some of the deliverables can't be started until others are finished. We refer to this as dependency relationships. As you build your schedule, consider the nature of the work being performed and what the required inputs could be in. If you've identified these inputs as tasks, they would be logical dependencies. Add at least 5 logical dependencies in the "predecessors" column.
Step 4: Your fourth step is to identify milestones
As noted in Step 1, your schedule needs milestones. Milestones are "markers" that help us determine if we're on track.They signify the completion of a major deliverable. In determining your milestones, think about the work you would want to celebrate with your team and the communications you would have with stakeholders about major accomplishments.
Step 5: Your fifth step is to assign resources.
Assigning resources helps us ensure we have clear roles and responsibilities on our project. This is critical in getting work done. Assume you have a team of 5 people. Create a resource sheet using role names (Sr. Analyst, Jr. Analyst etc.), assume a reasonable hourly rate and assign these people to all the deliverables in the schedule.
Step 6: Your final step is to identify the project's critical path
Use the software's functionality to highlight the series of activities that determine the project's completion date.
