Can you take addresses of variables on the heap?

A: No$,$ variables on the heap are in registers and do not have memory addresses.

B: Yes you can, but you generally should not for performance reasons.

C: Yes you can, and it allows you to pass those variables around without copying them.

D: No you cannot; that is not allowed since the C$99$ standard.
