Minimum Requirements
1. You will be writing on an approved topic which reflects an analysis of a significant business/organizational issue or problem. The analysis must include an examination of the different views of at least three (3) legitimate individuals who are considered experts on the topic.
2. Five (5) or six (6) word processed pages (double spaces with one inch margins), consisting of the following:
Introduction - A clear and complete description of the issue (what the paper is about) and an explanation of its significance (why the issue is important).
Body - A well-organized and careful presentation of the views of at least three (3) different experts. There must be an explanation as to why each of these individuals is an expert and why they should be taken seriously. (An expert is not an organization. An expert is someone (an individual) who has acquired special knowledge of a particular subject and have an objective view point.)
Analysis & Conclusion - Now that the issue has been explained and you have presented the views of the experts, you need to do an analysis and present your conclusion.
There should be thoughtful analysis of the different positions taken by each expert.Tell us which expert's opinion you favor and where do you disagree. Explain your viewpoint(s).

Work Cited - A current generally accepted format should be used to identify the source of all of the material that has been utilized. Consult with NCCC Library regarding how to properly cite sources.
3. Guidelines
Your issue/topic must have more than one view point.
I must see you, the writer, in your papers! Your opinions, observations, feelings, experiences, etc.
Define any terms or concepts that are not generally known.
Use direct quotations from your sources.
Edit and re-write the paper at least once.
Avoid the use of one-sentence paragraphs.
Avoid highly emotional or extreme statements.
Selecting An Issue - The best issue to research is one that interests you and you think is important. The next best issue is one that you think would be of interest or value to your classmates.
