W LIDLCII Scenario: Carly was a student who worked for her parents' construction company during the summer months. After she graduated, she went to work for the company on a full- time basis. Her parents believed they could now begin thinking about retirement. To groom Carly to take over, they began giving her small management problems to work on. Most recently, they asked her to explore the implications of a supplier being late with some roof trusses for a house they were working on. While trusses can go up very quickly, the lateness of the delivery meant that subsequent elements of the project would be delayed. In turn, Carly was concerned that the delays could potentially affect the start of the company's next project. Question: Discuss if the late delivery of the roof trusses is an example of a breach of contract by the supplier.
