Canadian (QUEBEC) - ETHICS & DEONTOLOGY IN QUEBEC

Following a serious professional misconduct, CAG inc. filed a complaint on March 14, 2020 against Mylne to the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec (OIQ). The OIQ's evidence reveals the following:

1.In the early 1980's Mylne began engineering studies at the University of Toronto, but did not finish them.

2.Between 1987 and 2000, she worked for several years in the field of engineering consulting, but not as an engineer, and this, within the firm Gerlais Site and associates of which she is the main partner and founder.

3.In 2000, she returned to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering on April 17, 2001.

4.In 2001, she applies for admission to the OIQ who issues her a trainee/junior engineer license and assigns her a membership number.

5.In 2004 she became a full licence engineer at the OIQ. At that time, embarrassed by this member's number which shows that she is less experienced than peers her age, Mylne avoids hanging up her engineering degree at her desk and makes a false seal and uses a wrong number, number own to an engineer of his age having been removed from the OIQ.

6.She worked for Boche & Associates from December 2017. She unduly accepted commissions to favor one supplier over another.

7.In April 2018, she acted as consultant and project manager for Merb Inc., a consulting engineering firm to whom she disclosed the trade secrets and confidential information of Gelvais Site and associates.

8.In October 2018, she was hired as an engineer at Axzyu inc.

9.In 2018, while employed by Axzyu Inc., she agreed to represent the opposing party of her former client at Boche & Associates, without declaring it to anyone.

10.Also in 2018, Axzyu inc. responds to SNC Gten Tech inc.'s call for tenders where it is required to collaborate with engineering firm Zlicop5 inc. Mylne finds all kinds of excuses for not responding to Zlicop5 's communications.

11.In December 2018, Zlicop5 inc. produces a final report which he sends to Mylne for his comments. In her report to SNC Gten Tech inc., Mylne takes up the conclusions of the Azxyu Inc. report. not to mention Zlicop5 inc., the source of his conclusions.

12.In February 2019, Axzyu inc. is bought by the engineering firm Parent Leal and partner (PLP) and Mylne joins the firm as an engineer. Following this acquisition, to comply with an internal policy of PLP that wants to know the origins of its employees, Mylne makes a false resume indicating that she graduated in 1985 rather than 2001 and forge a fake degree for the same purpose.
