1.Candace is divorced from her former husband, John. The original written divorce agreement required Candace to make payments for the support of John and their son, Chris, who lives with John. Payments were set at $400 per month for John and $300 per month for Chris. Payments are made on the first day of each month, and John has complete discretion as to their use. Effective June 1, 2020, the agreement was changed to increase the payments to John and Chris to $500 per month and $400 per month, respectively. In order to help John with winter holiday expenses, Candace made the payment for January 1, 2021 on December 10, 2020. No payments were missing or delayed for 2020.
