Can't seem to make the input stay on the same line.. Help!

import java.util.Scanner; public class Assignment3 { public static void main (String [] args) { Scanner sc=new Scanner (System.in); System.out.print("Enter the two integers to be added: "); int x = sc.nextInt(); int y = sc.nextInt(); System.out.println("The sum is:" + ( x + y ) ); } }

I need it to look like this:

Enter the two integers to be added: 1 2 The sum is: 3

But it keeps coming out like this:

Enter the two integers to be added: 2 1 The sum is:3
