CarBuy is a local used car dealership located in Central Pennsylvania. The business is owned by Hal Ship and his daughter Londy. Recently the business has grown significantly and they have hired four new sales representatives. As the business has grown, they realize that their paper-based method of collecting information is not very effective. For each vehicle CarBuy maintains information such as the VIN (vehicle identification number), make, model, year, and condition. To determine the condition of each vehicle CarBuy uses the service of at least three certified mechanics in the area. Once a vehicle is serviced by a mechanic, CarBuy wants to maintain information on who serviced the vehicles, when it was done, and what rating they gave the vehicle. The business is purely commission based. A salesperson only gets paid when they sell a vehicle. One salesperson can sell many cars and each car can be sold by up to two different sales people. A salesperson's commission is based on the length of time that they have worked for the company. The commission is increased by .25% every six months until the employee reaches three years. After that time the commission remains fixed. CarBuy realizes the customer is their greatest asset. Sometimes a customer walks in to the dealership but does not make a purchase. Hal and Londy want to maintain information about these potential customers, and follow-up with them on a later date. They also want to maintain records about people that have already purchased cars from them. As the business grows, the Ships anticipate that they can offer special discounts to repeat customers. As part of their business, CarBuy advertises in two local papers on Sundays. Further, they also post ads online. As part of maintaining information on sales, the Ships want to determine which ads generated which sales. As a result, they want to record which vehicles were included in specific print and web ads. The Ships hope that a database implementation can help them achieve their goals for CarBuy. Answer the following: List all the main entities with relevant attributes. Identify two questions you would ask the owners to better understand how the business works. 13. Construct an ERD for this business. Show all relevant relationships; primary keys; and constraints. Do you believe that a database is needed for this business, justify your
