Carl works as an accountant for SuperTech, a fast and upcoming successful software company. Carl was running late to work when he saw his usual bus arriving at the bus stop across the street. Knowing that the next bus wouldn't come until 30 minutes, Carl runs across the street without looking both ways or using a cross walk and is hit by Farah who was driving her car down the road above the speed limit. Farah's car hits Carl causing a broken leg. Palab sees Carl injured on the street and rushes into the roadway to pull Carl out of the street. In rescuing Carl from oncoming traffic Palab is hit by a car driven by Mike which causes a broken arm.

Two abulances show up and take Carl and Palab to the hospital seperately. Palab makes it to the hospital safely, but unfortunately, Carl's ambulance makes a wrong turn down a one way street and is hit by another car driven by Janice causing Carl to suffer a brain injury.

While recoving in the hospital, Carl brings a lawsuit against Farah for his injuries specifically the broken leg and brain injury. Palab also brings a lawsuit against Farah for his borken arm.

#2a) Will Carl win his lawsuit against Farah for his (1) broken leg, and (2) brain injury? Why or Why not? Answer each issue separately.
