CASE 6 Matong owns a construction company that hired 15 workers. currently, he hired Puso as a manager and in the contract, they agreed about Pusos duties and responsibilities. He also gave Puso authorities on certain things when he is not around (Matong). Pusos responsibilities were to make sure that the work assigned for the day is done, purchase the needed equipment and materials, and to make payments to the workers. He had to do all this on behalf of Matong. Puso was not authorized to buy on credit but he did buy on credit a couple of times and Matong did make payments. However, there is one other supplier that He refused to pay so the supplier wants to sue him for that debt. One of the days two-of the workers were not available. So Puso hired two temporary laborers. unfortunately, one of the new workers got injured and was taken to the hospital. Matong says Puso should take responsibility since he (Matong ) did not authorize Puso to hire any new staff. Legally advice
