You were hired as a Project Manager by METAZYX INC. to lead the Smartborough project. This project aims to advance a new model of inclusive urban development along Metrikcity waterfront, striving for the highest levels of sustainability, economic opportunity, housing affordability, and new mobility. Metrikcity wants to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life of people by enabling local development and harnessing technology as a means to create smart outcomes for citizens.

METAZYX INC. is a leader in environmental project management, however, the Smartborough project brings many new challenges because the firm has no prior experience with this type of project. This will be the culmination of multiple technologies, industries and professions and could last upwards of a decade. You also know that citizen involvement is also crucial. Significant investments in time and resources will have to be made. Adding to the existing problems, climate change brings other problems to cities like Metrikcity. They need to have tools to react to these problems rapidly and efficiently. Metrikcity is considering the introduction of the following solutions within the area targeted for its Smartborough project: trash management with sensorized collection, sewer level management with water sensors, air quality monitoring, smart water meters, greywater recycling, and smart energy grid.
