for Employee Health Insurance

1- Do you agree with the UPS statement that employ-ers have "a responsibility" to offer health care insurance coverage to employees? Should health care insurance be just one benefit among others, or is this something that all employees are entitled to? Why or why not?

2- What role should governments play in regulating the insurance industry? Should the government mandate coverage for preexisting conditions or require insurance companies to offer coverage for children?

3- Many states (and Canada and Australia as well) require car owners to purchase no-fault liability insurance on their car. This requirement is intended to protect everyone from harms that occur in auto-mobile accidents. How, if at all, is this different from the individual mandate found in the Afford-able Care Act? Should the government ever be in the business of requiring people to purchase anything?

4- Should health insurance be understood as a human right, a moral right, a legal right, a contractual right, or not a right at all?
