Case Study
Mr. Hanson is the proprietors of a hotel Intercontinental. One of his former guests Steve Wonder checked out of the hotel last week, but Mr. Hanson discovered that he had stolen a number of items from the hotel room, for example table lamps and coffee tables. Also, he had disturbed other guests when he returned to the hotel intoxicated one evening. Mr. Hanson decided he is no longer welcome at the hotel and informed him of this. Despite this Mr. Wonder walked into the hotel last week and attempted to book a room. Mr. Hanson refused and, on his way, out Mr. Wonder tripped on a loose wire and sprained his ankle. Mr. Wonder has informed Mr. Hanson that he will be taking action against them for occupiers liability.
answer these two questions:
1) What advice relating to the case would you offer to Mr. Hanson? 2) Can Mr. Wonder sue the hotel for his injury? Why? also find legal terms at least 6 or 7 and then 4 issues please and reasoning for each question yes or no.
