At Arawak cay, along with Andrew Kemp, he went to Island Restaurant. Andrew ordered two Dennings Beer for both of them. After drinking most of his beer, which was in a dark-coloured bottle, Harold Thompson noticed a part of a finger at the bottom of his beer. According to Harold Thompson, he became sick immediately after seeing the finger in the drink, most of which he had drunk before realizing that the finger was in the bottle.
